2007 in corso La realizzazione del recente piano urbanistico torinese ha portato anche all'interramento dei binari ferroviari che dividevano la città in due parti separate. Oggi su quel tracciato corre il grande asse di scorrimento chiamato "Spina Centrale" che percorre la città, per circa 12 chilometri da Sud a Nord, contornato dalla nascente nuova urbanizzazione pubblica e privata. Le prime dieci vedute di questa serie sono state realizzate durante due escursioni notturne (25 e 27 febbraio 2007) lungo le 4 sezioni della Spina Centrale torinese, in occasione del workshop con Bruna Biamino alla GAM di Torino. (24 febbraio - 10 marzo 2007) La scelta di una restituzione fotografica basata sul tradizionale metodo prospettico ha la funzione di precisare la percezione del luogo come spazio scenico e deriva direttamente dall'esperienza della precedente serie OLIMPIA (12 aprile 2004 - 10 febbraio 2006), dedicata alle trasformazioni urbanistiche della Torino olimpica. La contemplazione della Spina Centrale nell'immobile silenzio della luce notturna favorisce l'emergere di inattese relazioni tra le cose. Nel caso specifico, l'accento portato sulla vuota spazialità intende suggerire uno spostamento di attenzione verso la dimensione temporale di concetti come pausa, sospensione, nel loro significato più ampio. return to menu	2007 in progress A recent urban project in Torino (Italy) relocate underground the section of the railway that divided the city in two. Today twelve kilometers of a wide avenue, called "Spina Centrale", runs from south to north with new buildings and places. The first ten vedute of this work have been realized during two nocturnal excursions in Torino (February 25 and 27, 2007) along the 4 sections of the new avenue Spina Centrale, in occasion of the workshop with Bruna Biamino at the Modern Art Gallery of Torino. (February 24 - March 10, 2007) The choice of a photographic restitution based on the traditional perspective method has the function to specify the perception of the places as scenic space and derives directly from the experience of previous series OLIMPIA (April 12, 2004 - February 10, 2006), dedicated to the urban transformations of the olympic Torino. The contemplation of the Spina Centrale in the still silence of the nocturnal lights favors emerging of unexpected relations between the things. In this specific case, the accent on the empty space means to suggest one movement towards the temporal dimension of concepts like pause, suspension, in theirs meant more wide one.
