Questa serie è stata presentata al 1° Premio Fotografico "La Provincia di Milano e il suo territorio - immagini inedite e contemporanee" (2002 - 2003).
La Giuria del Premio ha segnalato una delle fotografie come la più rappresentativa per l'ambito del Castanese.
Il Castanese è una zona a ridosso del Ticino, lungo lo storico confine lombardo-piemontese, comprendente undici comuni in forte espansione urbanistica con un articolato sistema viario. A questo si aggiunge la percezione della costante presenza dell’acqua, trasportata dalla fitta rete di canali, anche storici come il Naviglio Grande.

This series has participated to the 1st Photographic Prize "The Province of Milan and its Territory - unpublished and contemporary images" (2002 - 2003).
The Jury of the Prize has marked one of the ten photographs of the series like "most representative" for the Castanese.
The Castanese is a zone near the Ticino river, along the historical border between Lombardy and Piedmont, with eleven villages. This is a transforming territory, with an articulate roads system. An other important characteristic, is the perception of the constant presence of the water, transported from a great net of canals, also historical how the Naviglio Grande.
