Fulvio Bortolozzo: "S/guardi e Ri/guardi Nord-Est"

28 MARZO - 11 MAGGIO 2008 S/GUARDI E RI/GUARDI NORD-EST A CURA DI Fabrizio LAVA FOTOGRAFIE DI Damiano ANDREOTTI Fulvio BORTOLOZZO Pier Carlo GABRIELE Fabrizio LAVA Nel 2006, all'interno del nuovo spazio espositivo del Project Store di Valle Mosso, fu allestita la mostra S/GUARDI E RI/GUARDI che presentava il territorio comunale attraverso l'obbiettivo di sei fotografi. Il progetto, a cura di Fabrizio Lava, fu allora affidato a: Damiano Andreotti, Pier Giorgio Bassoli, Fulvio Bortolozzo, Pier Carlo Gabriele, Diego Morales ed allo stesso Fabrizio Lava. La diversità dei linguaggi e delle scelte estetiche e ovviamente quella del filtro e del registro culturale dei singoli autori restituirono una Valle Mosso poliedrica e inaspettata. Da questo primo lavoro nacque l'idea di dare continuità a quel percorso visuale con l'allargamento dei confini a tutto il Biellese orientale con una nuova campagna fotografica da "terra", un'analisi sullo stato attuale delle cose. Una lettura che si rifà all'esperienza di Archivio dello Spazio della provincia di Milano e che ha lo scopo di censire lo stato dei fatti per favorire una riflessione. Con S/GUARDI E RI/GUARDI NORD-EST quattro fotografi portano ora il loro sguardo analitico e stilistico sulle trasformazioni del Biellese orientale, aprendo uno spazio di lettura e confronto che dovrà avere nuove tappe nel futuro. The project, cured by Fabrizio Lava, then was entrusted to: Damiano Andreotti, Pier George Bassoli, Fulvio Bortolozzo, Pier Carl Gabriele, Diego Morales and to the same Fabrizio Lava. The diversity of the languages, and the aesthetic choices of the single authors, gave back one Valle Mosso unexpected. From this first work is borned the idea of observer all territory of province of Biella. Like to the experience of Archivio dello Spazio of the province of Milan. With S/GUARDI E RI/GUARDI NORD-EST four photographers have analized the transformations of the north-oriental territory of Biella, opening a space of reading and comparison that must have new stages in the future.
